Since our creation in 2013, we\u2019ve expanded to bring on demand massage to over  70 cities<\/a> in the US, UK, Australia, and Canada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our Founder and former CEO Merlin Kauffman created Soothe while at Harvard Business School. Kauffman was traveling frequently and found it difficult to schedule a massage at a time and place that was convenient for him. What started as a solution to his own problem has grown into a flourishing business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Soothe provides several massage modalities, tailored to customer wellness and relaxation needs. Our Swedish<\/a>, deep tissue<\/a>, and sports massage<\/a> are the perfect complement to a busy lifestyle and help to create a spa experience in the place you feel most comfortable. Any of these on demand massage modalities can be performed as a couples massage<\/a>. We also offer prenatal massage<\/a> for expecting mothers. We pride ourselves on our quality massage and the convenience that our service provides. Soothe massages are available seven days a week between 8AM and midnight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We do our homework on the therapists on our platform so you don\u2019t have to. Soothe works with over 11,000 independent massage therapists<\/a>, all of whom are certified and vetted by industry professionals to ensure amazing service. Soothe therapists are licensed, insured, have passed state background checks, and have a long history of customer satisfaction. We know that happy therapists make for happy customers. That\u2019s why Soothe therapists earn three to four times more per hour than the industry standard \u2014 all while managing a work schedule that\u2019s flexible and convenient.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Soothe also provides in-office chair massage through our corporate wellness program, Soothe At Work<\/a>, and brings chair or table massage to events of all sizes with Soothe for Events. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
